What if I'm looking for something?
Please don't hesitate to ask! We're always here to assist you. To help connect with more people, Lisa, a former volunteer, created a special request list. If you're looking for something specific, let us know, and we'll notify you when it arrives. You can find Lisa's List at the front counter or you can send us a message.
When are you open?
We are open for shopping Tuesday through Saturday, from 10am to 4pm. Beyond our unique finds, Rise Resale offers The Coffee Spot, a welcoming space designed for connection and relaxation. Enjoy free coffee, tea, and snacks while you catch up with friends, delve into a book (or join our monthly book club), knit, or even get some work done. With its comfortable seating and inviting atmosphere, it's a true community gathering place.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash App.
Where can I park?
Lots of parking and ADA parking is readily available.
How does Rise Resale operate?
Behind the scenes of our resale store is a remarkable team of volunteers. We're a diverse mix of individuals, mothers and daughters, teachers, students, Villa De Vida of Poway, retirees, and friends, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives to our shared endeavor.
Do you deliver?
Unfortunately, we do not. We recommend asking a Tasker for help at TaskRabbit, renting a truck from your local Home Depot, or reaching out to a friend with a truck who can help with pickup and delivery of your purchase. If you have donations but can't make it to the store, we now offer a donation pickup through our partner ReSupply. Please click here to schedule a pickup!
Do you have a dressing room?
Yes, we offer a comfortable and large dressing room that is wheelchair accessible with a full-length mirror for trying on clothing.
When do you restock your inventory?
The frequency of new items on our shelves varies, as it depends on both the donations we receive and the diligent efforts of our volunteers in preparing inventory. Follow us on instagram and NextDoor for updates.
Do you have specific sections?
Our resale store is thoughtfully organized by category for easy browsing. Inside, you'll find dedicated areas for men's and women's clothing, shoes, purses, bags, scarves, and hats. We also feature sections for books, DVDs, CDs, electronics, linens, jewelry, photo frames, kitchenware, kids' clothes and games, sports and outdoor equipment, gardening supplies, crafts, seasonal items, greeting cards, gift supplies, pet items, tools, and a variety of home decor and furniture throughout the store. Outside, discover even greater savings with designated areas for 50% and 75% off clothing and other items.
Can I donate items to Rise Resale?
Yes, we accept all donations. Please stop by our Rancho Bernardo location at 12540 Oaks North Drive, A6, San Diego, California 92128 (we are on the corner of Pomerado Road and Oaks North Drive). We can provide a receipt for your tax deductible donation, please be sure to ask. For large items and furniture please reach out to Terry Norwood beforehand.
